Ascend Money Joins Thailand AI National Mission, Harnessing AI to Strengthen Security and Expand Access to Financial Services

Khun Monsinee Nakapanant and Khun Tanyapong Thamavaranukupt, Co-Presidents of Ascend Money, recently joined leaders from CP Group, Arise, True Corporation, and AWS at the Thailand AI National Mission press conference to share how AI can strengthen Thailand’s digital capabilities and unlock new opportunities for growth.

Ascend Money, an Arise-affiliated fintech company, will run its AI-driven credit scoring and loan origination capabilities on AWS to extend financial access to underbanked Thai citizens. The company will also use AI-powered e-KYC technology within the TrueMoney application to strengthen identity verification, deepfake detection, and fraud prevention amid increasingly sophisticated financial threats. In addition, Ascend Money will leverage AI to enable more personalized, persona-based wealth management tailored to the needs of different customer groups.

These efforts reflect Ascend Money’s broader commitment to advancing financial inclusion through technology.
